Alongside batch production, we also specialise in the manufacture of one-off and bespoke components. Our experienced team can provide guidance on design modifications that may improve manufacturability, reduce production costs, and enhance overall performance.

Where required, we create detailed CAD drawings to your specifications for approval before manufacture begins, ensuring the finished component accurately reflects your requirements and expectations.

Alex Thomas
Director of Lex Precision Engineering. Alex founded the company in 2018 and has grown it to the success it is today. With more than 15 years of hands-on experience, his expertise includes turning, CNC milling, balancing and CAD/CAM.
Outside of work, Alex has a strong passion for Motorsport, particularly karting and Formula 1, with a keen interest in the engineering and precision manufacturing that drive performance in the industry.

Tom Rylands
Tom is a Multi Skilled machinist engineer with over 15
years of experience in machining practices ranging from: manual lathe, manual milling, balancing, welding, slotting and metal spraying. He's also Proficient in CNC milling and turning based on fanuc controls, with extensive experience in CAD/CAM programming. Tom delivers precision-engineered solutions backed by a wealth of technical knowledge and practical industry experience.
Nick Postles
Nick is a highly experienced member of our team, with over 33 years in precision engineering and manufacturing. With a background spanning in the automotive, aerospace, nuclear, railway and marine industries, he brings extensive technical knowledge and problem solving abilities across every project. Nick specialises in complex turning and milling operations including advanced 5-axis machining and has great attention to detail.
